We are going to uninstall the Hardlock Device Driver. Step 1: Open the Command Prompt from the Start menu by selecting the 'Run as administrator' option. Step 2: Download this Haspdinst Utility.

Today when I tried to upgrade my windows 10 1909 to windows 10 20H1, I got multiple BSOD.
Based on the information on the BSOD screen, the BSOD were caused by some drivers (aksdf.sys, hardlock.sys, aksfridge.sys)

• There was 'hardlock' driver and I chose 'Delete' from drop-down menu. Decided not to reboot and continued my operations. Stopped and disabled Sentinel service in service manager. In windows/system32/drivers folder found files starting with hardlock and hasp (actually there were 2 or 3.sys files) and deleted them.

After investigation, looks like all these drivers were Sentinel Data Filter Device Driver/Aladdin HASP Data Filter Device Driver, Which provided by Safenet.
I have no idea how these driver got installed into my computer, and I can’t remove them from control panel.

The fix is to download the Sentinel HASP/LDK Windows GUI Run-time Sentinel HASP/LDK Windows GUI Run-time from thalesgroup website

After reboot, I can upgrade to windows 10 20H1 successfully.

The Sentinel HASP hardware license key used by Mimic requires a Windows device driver to function properly. This device driver is installed during the Mimic software installation. DeltaV uses a similar hardware solution that may block installation of Mimic's driver if the DeltaV driver is misbehaving.

If the Sentinel HASP driver installation fails with the message 'Running processes are accessing the drivers' on a system in which DeltaV is also installed, the cause may be a corrupted or out of date DeltaV license driver. After downloading the .zip file containing the driver, extract the file onto the DeltaV machine. Open a command line with administrator priviledges, and change to the directory containing the extracted executable. Run 'haspdinst.exe -kp -fremove -purge' to remove the old driver. Once complete, run 'haspdinst.exe -install' to reinstall the driver. Finally, reboot the computer.

After the machine has been rebooted, Mimic installation should succeed.
