Jabberslyth, Ghorgon and 'Charlemagnes'[editedit source]
Beastmen Warhammer 2
Two notable Beastmen units that were not included in the DLC were the Jabberslyth and Ghorgon. These were large monster units unique to the Beastmen, which had models in the Warhammer tabletop game. CA's explanation for not including these units was that they would cost too much to model and animate. CA gave the example that the Jabberslyth would have cost as much to create as the entire art budget for the 'Age of Charlemagne' DLC for Total War: Attila (a historical Total War game). This gave rise to a meme in the Total War community where 'a charlemagne' became a unit of measurement for money, and players would ask how many charlemagnes something cost.
ABOUT THE GAMESomething stirs in the deep dark forests of The Old World. Betweenthe twisted trunks, the Beastlords grow restless with anall-consuming battle-thirst. They gather to them great Warherds ofbarbarous, bestial fiends, forged in The Time of Chaos; darkamalgams of human intelligence, animal cunning and raw, recklessferocity.
The Call of The Beastmen Campaign Pack introduces the Beastmen as aplayable race to Total War™: WARHAMMER®. A feral, Chaos-taintedhorde race, they move like a plague across The Old World, fieldinghalf-human aberrations and colossal beasts in battle, many of whichfeature unique abilities. The Beastmen are playable in the GrandCampaign, custom and multiplayer battles, and in their very ownStory Campaign, An Eye For An Eye.
